Poster Presentations

You are invited to submit an abstract to the first Annual TASSA Conference to be held at the George Washington University on February 19, 2005 in Washington, DC. Poster presentations will be held in two categories. These two categories are Scientific and Institutional Presentations.

1) Scientific Presentations: Scientific poster session will serve as a platform for principal investigators, students, and postdoctoral fellows who would like to present their research efforts. There are four sub-categories that encompass the four Technical Groups of TASSA. These four technical groups are;

  • Engineering & Applied Sciences
  • Health & Biomedical Sciences
  • Natural Sciences
  • Social Sciences & Humanities

  • 2) Institutional Presentations: These posters will introduce institutes, research labs, universities, and other large and small facilities to the TASSA members and conference attendees, (Abstract format of these posters are more relaxed but are restricted to roughly one page). Abstract submission deadline is February 11, 2005.

    We are hoping that both the poster sessions will provide an informal platform where exchange of knowledge will be stimulated. We are particularly hopeful that attendees from Turkey and the USA can have discussions that may result in fruitful collaborations.
