Council of Higher Education (YÖK) of Turkey Invites Successful Students to Turkey to Resume Their Studies

Council of Higher Education President Prof. M. A. Yekta Saraç announced a decision for Turkish students studying abroad who do not want to return to their universities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and international students who wish to study in Turkey.  That decision involves the lifting of 50% limitation on the transfers from the programs of overseas universities, excluding the programs of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Law, Teaching, Engineering and Architecture.  Professor Saraç pointed out that students who wish to get transferred from universities ranked in the top 1,000 can apply for transfer for the first and last years and to transfer to open education programs.
