Faculty Position at Isik University

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY

The Department of Psychology at Isik University, Istanbul, Turkey welcomes applications for an Assistant Professor position in Cognitive Psychology. We specifically seek individuals with the following qualifications:

• PhD in Cognitive Psychology or a related field from a reputable university
• High-quality publications in the field of Cognitive Psychology
• Experience with teaching courses and supervising research projects at the BA and/or MA–level

The tasks of the successful applicant include conducting empirical research within an independent research group in the department, teaching and developing courses on themes relevant for Cognitive Psychology (in English and/or Turkish), mentoring undergraduate students, and acquiring external research funding [e.g., TUBITAK Reintegration Fellowships (2232), TUBITAK Young Investigator Grants (3501), TUBITAK Research Grants (1001/1002)].

The successful applicant will receive laboratory and office spaces, free access to the Department's common research infrastructure and will also be eligible for start-up funds from IŞIK UNIVERSITY. Accommodation on campus can be provided to eligible candidates.
