Faculty Position at Erciyes University, Materials Sci. & Eng.

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Erciyes University invites applications for an assistant professor position. Candidates from any field of interest within the general area of materials science and nanotechnology are encouraged to apply, but areas of particular interest include fabrication of electronic and optical devices, conventional lithographic processes (e.g. photolithography, e-beam lithography, plasma deposition), MEMS, sensors and microfluidics.

The successful applicant is primarily expected to contribute to the research activities conducted in the newly established Erciyes University Nanotechnology Research Center (ERNAM). Duties will also include teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline (a PhD degree in engineering is required for this position) with relevant experience and proven ability for excellence in research.
