The TASSA 2026 Conference, "Bridging Innovation in the Era of AI: Transnational Impact Across the U.S. and Türkiye," takes place October 2-4 at the Sancar Turkish Cultural and Community Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Registration is sold out, and we look forward to welcoming a full house.

The final program and the Program Book (PDF) are now online. The conference opens with a keynote and fireside chat with Nobel Laureate Dr. Aziz Sancar and Dr. Gwen Sancar, features a keynote by Dr. Kenan Şahin, and brings together university presidents from Türkiye, AI researchers and technology executives, founders, philanthropists, and immigration attorneys across six panels. The weekend also includes an entrepreneurship workshop, three lightning talk sessions and 49 posters, a job fair, a cultural tribute to Aşık Veysel, the Young Scholars Awards, and the Saturday evening reception and dinner.

We thank our sponsors, TIAX, Koç University, Özyeğin University, Vehbi Koç Vakfı, OSTİM, Karakaşlıoğlu Law Firm, Esin Susol Team, and Doug Dickerson of Edward Jones, and our host, the Aziz & Gwen Sancar Foundation.
