Dr. Selcuk Guceri Named Delaware Valley's 2010 Engineer of the Year

Drexel University, College of Engineering is proud to announce that Dr. Selcuk Guceri, dean of the college, has been named the 2010 Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year. Dr. Guceri was unanimously selected by the Engineers Club of Philadelphia members on behalf of the professional and technical societies in the Delaware Valley.

This award is bestowed on Dr. Guceri for his outstanding leadership and remarkable contributions to the engineering profession. Drexel's College of Engineering has thrived under Dr. Guceri's leadership. He has established extensive outreach projects to promote science and engineering and forged coalitions with corporations, government agencies, universities and engineering societies; transforming Drexel's engineering program into the largest private college of engineering in the nation and a world renowned research operation.

This award exemplifies Drexel College of Engineering's continuing commitment to engineering leadership and contributions to the engineering profession.
