Faculty Positions at School of Engineering, Yasar University (Izmir, Turkey)

School of Engineering at Yasar University invites applications for full-time faculty positions in all Departments starting as early as Fall 2013. We primarily seek outstanding individuals at the Assistant Professor level but exceptional applications in all ranks will be considered. We expect candidates to have a strong commitment both to research and to teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

• Department of Computer Engineering: The candidates should have earned a Ph.D. or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a closely related discipline, and have a strong research background in one of the following areas: Computer Networks, Network Programming, Cloud Computing, Mobile and ad hoc Networks, and Network Security. • Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering: The candidates should have earned a Ph.D. or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline. • Department of Energy Systems Engineering: The candidates should have earned a Ph.D. or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline, and have a strong research background in one of the following areas: Thermal-Fluid Science; Renewable Energy Systems Analysis, Design and Integration; Process Modeling and Controls. • Department of Industrial Engineering: We are seeking highly qualified, creative individuals with a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or equivalent doctoral level degree(s) in closely related field. The candidates should have strong research background in one of the following areas: Discrete & Continuous Optimization Theory and Mathematical Programming; Production Planning and Scheduling.
