TASSA President's Service Awards 2018

During TASSA 2018 Conference the President of TASSA, Haluk Ünal, honored six TASSA members with the TASSA President's Service Awards. We congratulate all of our awardees and appreciate all their efforts for TASSA.

• Aydoğan Özcan, Chancellor’s Professor and HHMI Professor, Electrical Engineering, UCLA
• Banu Onaral, H. H. Sun Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, Drexel University
• Mehmet Toner, Helen Andrus Benedict Professor,  Biomedical Engineering, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology

Haluk Ünal also honored İlhan Başgöz with Honorary Membership Award, who is Professor Emeritus of Central Eurasian Studies and Professor Emeritus of Folklore at Indiana University. He shared with us his unforgettable memories with Atatürk when he was in middle school.  During his speech, all attendees had emotional moments.
