Istanbul Quantitative Lectures - ISTQL 2012

Dear Colleagues,

On the second year of “Istanbul Quantitative Lectures” we are proud to present, the international environment of learning and exploring quantitative methods and data analysis for Social Scientists. With the contribution of internationally respected scientists in the field, it is our honour to present two different courses this summer at ISTQL 2012.

This year, “Istanbul Quantitative Lectures -2012” will also take place in Istanbul University main Campus, between the 2nd and 13th July 2012. This year’s lecture topics are;

  • Latent Class Analysis” by Professor Allan L. McCutcheon from University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Professor McCutcheon is also the founding Director of the Gallup Research Centre and the Senior Scientist of Gallup International Research and Education Centre and Gallup-Europe.
  • Spatial Econometrics” by Professor Anil Kumar Bera from University of Illinois. Professor Bera is very well known as the co-inventor of Jarque-Bera Normality Test

The details of the ISTQL 2012 organization and the application form could be found on our website (www.istql.com).  The organization is open to both students with required background, practitioners in the research field and academicians who would like to widen their horizons. For students who would like to transfer the credit, summer school course worth 15 ECTS credits.
