TASSA'18
Conference will be held on June 2-3, 2018 in Boston, MA at the Boston
University. The conference chair will be Dr. Selim Ünlü, Professor at
the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Boston University.
TASSA conferences bring a very large number of
Turkish-American Scientists together and also provide a networking
opportunity for future collaborations.
TASSA team welcomes all Turkish-American Scientists and Scholars to
the conference.

Typing in Turkish using the standard English keyboard has
been an ever-present challenge for Turkish-Americans. In fact, this
problem has been around for so long that most fellow expats have

1) Would you please tell us about yourself and your
journey that led you to become a scholar. My journey to become a
computer scientist started early in my life. I was inclined towards
math and science. That and my fascination with video games -not
just playing them but understanding their design and graphics
steered me towards the decision to study computer engineering as a
major.
