Participates at the Euraxess Joint Mentoring Initiative Meeting
On 5-6 December 2016 TASSA participated in the 2nd
Annual Meeting of the European Scientific Diasporas in North America.
The opening reception took place at the Embassy of Austria, Washington
D.C. on December 5 followed by the full event at the Embassy of
Slovakia, Washington, D.C. on December 6.

Feryal
Ozel receives Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship. Feryal Ozel
is a Professor of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the Department of
Astronomy at The University of Arizona. She has made pioneering
contributions to the physics of neutron stars and black holes, as
well as to the co-evolution of black holes and galaxies in the early
Universe.

degree in Economics at an accredited school in the United States.
The scholarship is given in memory of Sena Eken Schieber. Several
awards will be made annually, up to $25,000 each, to cover tuition
and/or living expenses.

are in search for a partner to submit to the Marie Sklodowska-Curie
Proposal. Since the current partners are all academic, we are looking
for partners from the industry. The partner should have an expertise
in mining industry, steel aluminum, foundry industry,
semiconductor manufacturer, casting of any type of
metals -aluminum, copper, steel, forge etc.,
and can be a large scale corporation, KOBI or all other non-academic
organizations.
