Dr. Duygu Ozmadenci Leading Author of a Study Giving Hope for Ovarian Cancer Cure
Dr. Duygu Ozmadenci,a postdoctral fellow at Cancer Center of University of California San Diego, and her colleagues demonstrated how key proteins act together to suppress antitumor activity in ovarian cancer. Lead author of this research, Dr. Ozmadenci showed that active, phosphorylated FAK increased in late-stage HGSOC tumors and colocalized with CD155 in HGSOC tumors.
