Postdoctoral Researcher Position at Boğaziçi University

A postdoctoral researcher position is available in the Laboratory of Genome Regulation at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey.

Our group is interested in understanding gene regulatory and epigenetic mechanisms, especially in cancers, and in ultimately translating such understanding to targeted cancer therapy (Cancer Cell 21:723-37, 2012;Cancer Cell 18:590-605, 2010; Nature 454:226-31, 2008).  Our research has been funded by European Commission FP7 Program, European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO) Installation Grant, national and institutional research grants.

We are looking for a highly motivated biomedical PhD scientist with a background in molecular biology or a related field. A strong research background, as demonstrated by peer-reviewed publication record, and good communication skills are required. Familiarity with mouse disease models and/or cancer biology is a plus. The position is initially for one year (with a mid-year evaluation), with likely extension to second and third years.
